Food is my palette for artistic expression.  I strive to express the flavors, textures, colors, balance, execution, and presentation as parts of a whole.  

Throughout my career I have diversified and expanded my knowledge of the culinary arts. As a kitchen executive, chef instructor, food stylist, or in fine dining or non-profit atmospheres, honoring locally sourced produce and quality proteins with creative, inspired menus is the highest order for staff and customers alike.

Ever since I could pull a chair up to the stove, I have been cooking food for my family. I grew up in an ingredient household, and if you were hungry, you needed to start the stove and grab a knife.

When I am not working, I spend most of my time with my daughter (who is already a foodie), tending to my backyard vegetable garden and chickens, acrylic painting (produce, of course) and gathering with friends and family for meals and music.
